Biography

Michael Culkin is an English actor born on 2 July 1954 in London. He is best known for his role as Judge Buller in the BBC drama series Garrow's Law (2009–2011).

Culkin has appeared in numerous British television productions, including The Crown (2016–2017) as Rab Butler, two seasons of Poldark (2015–2016) as Horace Treneglos, and Bridgerton (2020) as Lord Rutledge. His film credits include Candyman (1992) and its sequel Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh (1995) as Phillip Purcell, The Iron Lady (2011), Mortdecai (2015) and Mr. Holmes (2015). He has also performed in the West End, notably starring with Maggie Smith in Alan Bennett's The Lady in the Van, and at the National Theatre. Culkin is a member of BAFTA.
