Biography

Michael Lange is an American television director. He studied theatre at George Washington University and worked in advertising before moving to California in 1980. His first industry role was as a post-production assistant on the series The Fall Guy in 1982.

Lange has directed more than 240 television episodes. His credits include The X-Files (1993), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997), Northern Exposure, Beverly Hills, 90210, Dawson's Creek, The O.C., Criminal Minds and Bones. He has also directed the feature film Intern (2000) and television movies including Jumping Ship and My Future Boyfriend. He has served as co-executive producer and director on series such as Greek and Drop Dead Diva.
