Biography

Michel Barthélémy is a French production designer. He has worked extensively in French cinema, providing production design for films directed by Jacques Audiard, including A Prophet (2009), Rust and Bone (2012) and Dheepan (2015).

His other credits include 99 Francs (2007), The Heir Apparent: Largo Winch (2008), Frantz (2016), The Sisters Brothers (2018), Black Box (2021) and The Night of the 12th (2022). He has received several César Award nominations for best production design and won the award for A Prophet in 2010 and for The Sisters Brothers in 2019.
