Biography
Pascal Caucheteux is a French film producer. Born on 27 March 1961 in Vincennes, France, he co-founded the production company Why Not Productions in 1990 with Grégoire Sorlat. The company specialises in financing French auteur cinema.
Caucheteux has produced or executive produced numerous films, including A Prophet (2009), Rust and Bone (2012), You Were Never Really Here (2017), The Sisters Brothers (2018) and Emilia Pérez (2024). He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture for Emilia Pérez, shared with Jacques Audiard. He has won three British Academy Film Awards and received five further BAFTA nominations.
