Biography
Mimi Kennedy is an American actress. She was born on 25 September 1948 in Rochester, New York.
She began her career in theatre and television, with recurring and regular roles in series including Homefront (1991–93) as Ruth Sloan, Dharma & Greg (1997–2002) as Abby O’Neil and Mom (2013–2021) as Marjorie Armstrong. For the latter she received a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination for Best Guest Performer in a Comedy Series.
Kennedy has appeared in films including Erin Brockovich (2000), In the Loop (2009) as Karen Clark, Due Date (2010), Midnight in Paris (2011) and The Five-Year Engagement (2012). She is the author of the memoir Taken to the Stage: The Education of an Actress.
