Biography
Mindy Sterling is an American actress. Born on 11 July 1953 in Paterson, New Jersey, she trained in acting at Miami Dade College after growing up in Miami and later joined the improvisational comedy troupe The Groundlings in Los Angeles.
She is known for playing Frau Farbissina in the Austin Powers film series (1997–2002) and Clarnella in How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). Sterling has provided voices for animated features including Monsters University (2013) and Minions (2015), and has recurring television roles as Miss Francine Briggs in iCarly (2007–2012), Principal Susan Skidmore in A.N.T. Farm (2011–2013) and Linda Schwartz in The Goldbergs (2017–2023). She received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her work in the web series Con Man (2015–2017).
