Biography
Moroni Olsen (27 June 1889 – 22 November 1954) was an American actor. Born in Ogden, Utah, to Mormon parents, he studied at Weber Stake Academy and the University of Utah before working in theatre.
In 1923 he formed the Moroni Olsen Players, a repertory company that toured the western United States. After Broadway appearances he made his film debut in 1935 as Porthos in The Three Musketeers. He is known for voice roles as the Magic Mirror in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and the senior angel in It's a Wonderful Life (1946), as well as screen roles including Walter Beardsley in Alfred Hitchcock's Notorious (1946), Inspector Peterson in Mildred Pierce (1945) and Herbert Dunstan in Father of the Bride (1950).
