Biography
Moya Brady is an English actress. She was born on 8 September 1962 in Manchester and grew up in Blackpool, Lancashire. She has worked in film, television and theatre since the mid-1980s.
Her film credits include Paula in Mike Leigh’s Life Is Sweet (1991), a Lambton maid in Pride & Prejudice (2005), Aunty Flo in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009) and an abusive bystander in Peterloo (2018). On television she has played Bridget in the Doctor Who episode “Love & Monsters” (2006), Millie in It’s a Sin (2021) and Breda McQueen in the soap opera Hollyoaks (2018–2020). Other notable roles include appearances in The Bill and Shameless.
