Biography
Nancy Steiner is an American costume designer. She began her career in the late 1980s styling music videos for artists and bands including Nirvana, R.E.M., No Doubt, and others before moving into film and television.
Her film credits include Safe (1995), The Virgin Suicides (1999), Lost in Translation (2003), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), The Lovely Bones (2009), The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017), and Promising Young Woman (2020). She also designed costumes for the 2017 series Twin Peaks: The Return.
Steiner won a Costume Designers Guild Award for excellence in contemporary film for her work on Promising Young Woman.
