Biography
Odile Dicks-Mireaux is a British costume designer. She studied theatre design at the Central School of Art and Design in London. After college she worked in fringe theatre with companies including Pip Simmons and Belt and Braces before joining the BBC in 1979 as an assistant; she became a designer in 1982.
Her television credits include episodes of Doctor Who (1982), The Black Adder (1983) and The Lost Prince. She left the BBC in 1996 and has since designed costumes for feature films including Dirty Pretty Things (2002), The Constant Gardener (2005), An Education (2009), Brooklyn (2015), Last Night in Soho (2021) and See How They Run (2022), as well as the miniseries Chernobyl (2019).
Dicks-Mireaux has received a Primetime Emmy Award for The Lost Prince and a BAFTA Craft Award for Chernobyl, along with multiple BAFTA nominations for both television and film work.
