Biography
Paul Wernick is a Canadian screenwriter and producer. He is best known for his long-term collaboration with Rhett Reese, with whom he has written several feature films.
Wernick began his career as a television news producer, winning three Emmy Awards, before moving into reality television. He co-created and produced shows including The Joe Schmo Show. His first feature collaboration with Reese was Zombieland (2009). Subsequent credits include G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013), Deadpool (2016), Life (2017), Deadpool 2 (2018), Zombieland: Double Tap (2019), 6 Underground (2019), Ghosted (2023), Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) and Now You See Me: Now You Don't (2025).
