Biography
Rhett Reese is an American screenwriter and producer. He has frequently collaborated with Paul Wernick on screenplays including Zombieland (2009), G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013), Life (2017), Deadpool (2016), Deadpool 2 (2018) and Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). Together they created the reality series The Joe Schmo Show.
Reese grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and attended Stanford University. His early film credits include Clifford's Really Big Movie (2004) and Cruel Intentions 3 (2004). He has also written 6 Underground (2019), Ghosted (2023) and the screenplay for Now You See Me: Now You Don't (2025).
