Biography
Pete Michels is an American animation director. Born on 15 December 1964 in Little Ferry, New Jersey, he studied animation at the University of California, Los Angeles, after earlier studies at Jersey City State College.
He began working on The Simpsons in 1990 as a background layout and character layout artist, later directing 11 episodes between 1997 and 2003. He has directed extensively on Family Guy and served as supervising director on the first two seasons of Rick and Morty. He is currently supervising director on Krapopolis.
His other directing credits include episodes of Rugrats, Future-Worm! and Bless the Harts.
