Biography
Robin Bartlett is an American actress known for her work in film, television and theatre. Born in New York City on 22 April 1951, she trained at the High School of Performing Arts and earned a BFA from Boston University in 1973. She began her career on stage, appearing in Broadway productions including Yentl (1975) and later works such as Angels in America.
Bartlett has appeared in supporting roles in films including Moonstruck (1987), City of Angels (1998), Shutter Island (2010) as Bridget Kearns, Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) and The Fabelmans (2022). On television she had recurring roles as Debbie Buchman in Mad About You and Sophie Lipkin in The Powers That Be, and guest appearances in series such as American Horror Story and Curb Your Enthusiasm. She was married to actor Alan Rosenberg from 1976 to 1984.
