Biography
Roger Nygard is an American director, editor, producer and author. Born on 28 March 1962 in Minnesota, he began directing feature films in the early 1990s and gained recognition with the 1997 documentary Trekkies, which examined Star Trek fandom.
He has directed episodes of television series including The Office (2005) and The Bernie Mac Show (2001–2006). As an editor, his credits include multiple seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Emmy-nominated work on Veep. Nygard has also directed and produced other documentaries such as Trekkies 2 (2004) and The Nature of Existence (2010), and has written books on documentary filmmaking and comedy editing.
