Biography
Rudd Simmons is an American producer and production manager. His credits include producing or executive producing feature films such as Dead Man Walking (1995), High Fidelity (2000), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Coffee and Cigarettes (2004) and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004). He has also worked on Jim Jarmusch films including Down by Law (1986), Mystery Train (1989) and Night on Earth (1991).
In television, Simmons has produced series including Boardwalk Empire (2010), The Slap (2015), Gypsy (2017) and The Enemy Within (2019). He serves as producer and unit production manager on the Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again (2025). He directed the 2012 documentary The First Season.
Simmons has received two wins and two nominations for his work, including a Producers Guild of America Award and a Primetime Emmy nomination.
