Biography
Scott Kaufer is an American television writer and producer born on 15 March 1953. He began his career in journalism before moving into television writing.
His writing credits include episodes of Murphy Brown (1990–1991), The X-Files (1994), Ink (1997), Arli$$ (1997), Beggars and Choosers (2000–2001), Gilmore Girls (2004) and Boston Legal (2004–2005). He has also worked as a producer or executive producer on series including Arli$$, The Chris Isaak Show, Boston Legal, South Beach, 3 lbs. and Memphis Beat. He is the older brother of Jonathan Kaufer.
