Biography
Simon Jayes is a British cinematographer and camera operator whose credits include extensive work in both film and television. He has operated the 'A' camera and Steadicam on numerous productions, including The Mandalorian (2019), War of the Worlds (2005), Argo (2012), Quantum of Solace (2008), Collateral (2004) and Non-Stop (2014).
Jayes maintained a long association with the HBO series True Blood (2008–2014), serving as camera operator and Steadicam operator across 73 episodes. He also directed one episode of the series, 'May Be the Last Time', which aired in 2014.
