Biography
Sting, born Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, is an English actor and musician. He is best known for his roles as Feyd Rautha in Dune (1984), JD in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998), the Heroic Officer in The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988), and appearances as himself in Zoolander 2 (2016) and Brüno (2009). He has also provided voice work as himself in Bee Movie (2007) and The Simpsons (1989).
Sting began acting in the late 1970s while fronting the band the Police. His film and television credits include Only Murders in the Building (2021) and Kaamelott: The First Chapter (2021). He appeared as himself in the 2013 documentary 20 Feet from Stardom.
