Biography

Suzie Lavelle is an Irish cinematographer based in London. She trained at the National Film and Television School and began her career shooting short films and independent features, including One Hundred Mornings (2009) and The Other Side of Sleep (2011).

She is known for her work on television series such as Doctor Who (2012–2015), Sherlock: The Abominable Bride (2016), for which she received a Primetime Emmy nomination, Normal People (2020), Conversations with Friends (2022), His Dark Materials (2019) and Severance (2022). Her feature credits include The End We Start From (2023) and Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy (2025). She is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers.
