Biography
Terence Rigby was an English actor. Born in Erdington, Birmingham, he trained at RADA and completed national service in the Royal Air Force.
His film roles included Gerald Fletcher in Get Carter (1971), the voice of Silver in Watership Down (1978), General Bukharin in Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), and Edward Staunton in Mona Lisa Smile (2003). On television he played Roy Bland in the 1979 miniseries Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and PC Snow in Softly, Softly: Task Force. Stage credits included creating the role of Joey in the original production of Harold Pinter's The Homecoming (1965).
Rigby died in London in 2008.
