Biography
Teri Polo is an American actress. She was born Theresa Elizabeth Polo on 1 June 1969 in Dover, Delaware.
Polo began her career in modelling and ballet before moving into acting. Her early television roles included a part in the soap opera Loving (1987) and a recurring role as Michelle Schowdowski Capra in Northern Exposure (1994–95). She appeared as Rebecca Wells in Sports Night (1999).
She is known for playing Pam Byrnes-Focker in the Meet the Parents film series (2000, 2004, 2010) and Helen Santos in The West Wing (2005–06). Later credits include a lead role in The Fosters (2013–18) and its spin-off Good Trouble (2019–24).
