Biography
Tim Plester (born 10 September 1970) is a British actor, playwright and filmmaker from Banbury, Oxfordshire. He graduated with a BA in Theatre from Dartington College of Arts and an MA in playwriting studies from Birmingham University.
Plester is known for acting roles including Rocket in the BBC series Life on Mars (2006), Black Walder Rivers in Game of Thrones (2013–2016), RT Baker in Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), Danil in Kick-Ass (2010), and Fay Drolla in Andor (2022). He has also appeared in Lockout (2012), Control (2007), Shadow and Bone (2021) and After Life (2019).
As a filmmaker, he co-directed the documentaries Way of the Morris (2011) and The Ballad of Shirley Collins (2017) with Rob Curry. He has written and directed several short films, including the award-winning Ant Muzak (2002), and a collection of his stage plays was published in 2020.
