Biography
Trent Opaloch is a Canadian cinematographer. He grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and studied filmmaking at Confederation College before moving to Vancouver to begin his career.
He is known for his collaborations with director Neill Blomkamp on District 9 (2009), Elysium (2013) and Chappie (2015), and with directors Anthony and Joe Russo on Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). In 2010 he received a BAFTA nomination for best cinematography for District 9.
