Biography
Tyler Bensinger is an American screenwriter, television writer, producer and film director. He grew up in Los Angeles, attended the Webb School of California, earned a B.A. in English from Yale University and an MFA from UCLA Film School.
He began his career writing and directing the feature film Just Looking (1995). Bensinger moved into television in the late 1990s and has written episodes for numerous series, including Cold Case (2003), The Good Wife (2009), Masters of Sex (2013), Nashville (2012), Notorious (2016) and This Is Us (2016). He has also served as a producer on several of these programmes. Bensinger received a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for Masters of Sex and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for This Is Us.
