Biography
Victor McGuire is an English actor born on 17 March 1964 in Tuebrook, Liverpool. He trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School after attending the Everyman Youth Theatre.
McGuire is best known for his television roles as Jack Boswell in the series Bread (1986–1991) and Ron Wheatcroft in Goodnight Sweetheart (1993–1999, 2016). His film credits include Gary in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and Piangi in The Phantom of the Opera (2004). He has also appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), The Woman in Black (2012) and Chernobyl (2019).
On stage, McGuire has performed in West End productions including Chicago as Amos Hart and Fiddler on the Roof as Lazar Wolf. He has appeared in numerous other television series such as Trollied (2012–2017) as Ian.
