Biography
W. G. Snuffy Walden is an American composer and musician known for his work on television series. Born William Garrett Walden on 13 February 1950 in Louisiana, he was raised in Houston, Texas, and began his career as a touring and session musician before moving into scoring.
He composed themes and scores for numerous series, including thirtysomething, The Wonder Years (1988), My So-Called Life (1994), Felicity (1998), The West Wing (1999), Friday Night Lights (2006) and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (2006). Walden won a Primetime Emmy Award for the main title theme of The West Wing and has received multiple Emmy nominations along with 26 BMI Awards.
