Biography
Alan Cody is a film and television editor. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he moved to California at the age of three and graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1987 with a degree in radio, film and television.
He began his career as an intern and assistant editor, later working extensively with Michael Kahn on films including Schindler's List (1993) and Jurassic Park (1993). His editing credits include Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997), Inspector Gadget (1999), Larry Crowne (2011) and multiple episodes of The Walking Dead (2010–2022). He has also edited episodes of The Pacific (2010), The Americans (2013) and Invasion (2021).
Cody has received two Primetime Emmy nominations for his television work.
