Biography
Aleksa Palladino is an American actress and singer. Born in New York City on 21 September 1980, she began her career as a teenager with roles in independent films including Manny & Lo (1996) and The Adventures of Sebastian Cole (1998).
She is known for her performances as Angela Darmody in the HBO series Boardwalk Empire (2010–2011) and as Sara Wheeler in the AMC series Halt and Catch Fire (2015). Other credits include Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2007), Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (2007), The Irishman (2019) and The Penguin (2024). Palladino received a Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the ensemble cast of Boardwalk Empire.
From 2007 to 2018 she was the lead singer of the dream pop duo Exitmusic with her former husband Devon Church, releasing three albums.
