Biography

Alix Friedberg is an American costume designer. She was born on 20 September 1973 in Los Angeles County, California, and graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles.

Friedberg has worked as costume designer on films including Gone Baby Gone (2007), Gamer (2009), The Hot Chick (2002) and A Lot Like Love (2005), and on television series including True Detective (2014), Big Little Lies (2017) and Palm Royale (2024–2025). She shared costume design duties with Christine Bieselin Clark on TRON: Ares (2025).

She has received a Primetime Emmy Award and multiple other nominations. She is the daughter of filmmaker Rick Friedberg and sister of writer-director Jason Friedberg.
