Biography
Andrew G. Vajna was a Hungarian-American film producer. Born András György Vajna in Budapest on 1 August 1944, he died in Budapest on 20 January 2019.
He founded Carolco Pictures with Mario Kassar in 1976, later establishing Cinergi Pictures and C2 Pictures. Vajna produced or executive-produced numerous major films, including the first three entries in the Rambo series (1982–1988), Total Recall (1990), Tombstone (1993), Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995), Evita (1996), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) and Basic Instinct 2 (2006).
