Biography
Andrew Mondshein is an American film editor. He was born on 28 February 1957 and graduated from the University of Florida. His early credits include assistant editor roles on Sidney Lumet films in the early 1980s, followed by editing five of Lumet's features between 1984 and 1992.
Mondshein has collaborated on eleven films with director Lasse Hallström, beginning with Once Around (1991) and including Chocolat (2000) and The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014). He edited The Sixth Sense (1999), for which he received Academy Award, BAFTA and ACE Eddie nominations and won a Satellite Award. Other credits include What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), American Made (2017) and A Quiet Place: Day One (2024).
