Biography
Andy Jurgensen is an American film editor. Born in Orange County, California, he graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2004.
He began his career as a post-production assistant and worked as an assistant editor on Inherent Vice (2014). He progressed to associate editor on Phantom Thread (2017) and served as editor on Licorice Pizza (2021) and One Battle After Another (2025), both directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. He has also edited shorts including Junun (2015) and Anima (2019), as well as music videos.
For One Battle After Another, Jurgensen won the Academy Award for Best Film Editing and the BAFTA Award for Best Editing. He received BAFTA and Critics' Choice Award nominations for his work on Licorice Pizza.
