Biography
Anthony Katagas is an American film producer. He graduated from Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he studied government. In 1999 he founded Keep Your Head Productions in New York City to develop independent films.
Katagas has produced or served as unit production manager on numerous features, including Lost in Translation (2003), The Next Three Days (2010), Killing Them Softly (2012), 12 Years a Slave (2013), The Immigrant (2013), Nerve (2016), The Lost City of Z (2017), Ad Astra (2019), Uncut Gems (2019), The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020) and Good Fortune (2025). He won the Academy Award for Best Picture for 12 Years a Slave and has received BAFTA, Golden Globe and Producers Guild of America awards.
