Biography
Barbara De Fina is an American film producer. She began her career in production roles in the 1970s and 1980s, working as a production coordinator and unit manager on films including Woody Allen's Interiors (1978) and Sidney Lumet's Prince of the City (1981).
She is best known for her long association with director Martin Scorsese. De Fina produced The Color of Money (1986), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), Cape Fear (1991), The Age of Innocence (1993), Casino (1995), Kundun (1997), Bringing Out the Dead (1999) and Silence (2016). She was executive producer on Goodfellas (1990) and Hugo (2011).
De Fina was married to Scorsese from 1985 to 1991. She has also produced films for other directors, including You Can Count on Me (2000) and Lymelife (2008).
