Biography
Barry M. Schkolnick (born 2 April 1958) is an American television writer and producer. He wrote the teleplay for the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth-season episode "Conundrum" (1992).
He worked as a writer on fourteen episodes of Law & Order between 1993 and 2000, and as story editor and executive story editor on the series from 1995 to 1997. He received a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for the episode "Savages". Schkolnick was also a story editor on L.A. Law.
His other credits as writer and producer include The Division (2001–2003), The Guardian (2003–2004), Medical Investigation (2004–2005), In Justice (2006), The Dresden Files (2007), Legend of the Seeker (2008–2009), The Good Wife (2010) and In Plain Sight (2011). He contributed original material for episodes of Law & Order: UK in 2010 and 2011.
