Biography
Ben Shenkman is an American actor. Born on 26 September 1968 in New York City, he graduated from Brown University and earned an MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 1993.
He began his career with small film roles in the mid-1990s, including Quiz Show (1994), Eraser (1996) and The Siege (1998). In 1998 he played Lenny Meyer in Pi. His stage work includes the role of Louis Ironson in Angels in America, which he reprised in the 2003 HBO miniseries, earning Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. He received a Tony Award nomination for Proof (2001). On television he is known for Royal Pains (2012–2016) as Dr Jeremiah Sacani and recurring appearances in Billions and Law & Order.
