Biography
Billy Kimball is an American writer and producer. He was born on 8 July 1959 in Cutchogue, New York, and graduated from Harvard College in 1982, where he contributed to the Harvard Lampoon.
His television writing credits include nine episodes of The Simpsons (1989), mostly co-written with Ian Maxtone-Graham between 2007 and 2014, and a story credit on Seinfeld (1989) for the 1998 episode 'The Strongbox'. He has also written for Veep (2012), for which he received two Primetime Emmy Awards, a Writers Guild of America Award and a Peabody Award as co-executive producer and writer.
Other work includes co-writing the 2010 documentary Waiting for 'Superman', serving as head writer for the 88th and 89th Academy Awards, and producing multiple Independent Spirit Awards.
