Biography

Bonnie Bedelia is an American actress. Born in New York City on 25 March 1948, she began her career in theatre during the 1960s, appeared in the CBS daytime soap opera Love of Life, and made her film debut in The Gypsy Moths (1969).

Bedelia is known for film roles including Ruby Bates in They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969), Holly Gennaro McClane in Die Hard (1988) and its 1990 sequel, Barbara Sabich in Presumed Innocent (1990), and Polly Chalmers in Needful Things (1993). Her television work includes the lead in The Division (2001–2004) and Camille Braverman in Parenthood (2010–2015). She has received two Emmy Award nominations.
