Biography
Brian Tarantina was an American character actor who worked in film, television and theatre. Born in New York City, he trained at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and began his career on stage.
He appeared in Broadway productions including Angels Fall (1983) and Biloxi Blues (1985), for which he received a Theatre World Award and a shared Drama Desk Award for ensemble acting. His film roles include Doug in Jacob's Ladder (1990), Bruno in Donnie Brasco (1997), Speller in Carlito's Way (1993) and Officer Clay Mulaney in BlacKkKlansman (2018). On television he had recurring parts in Gilmore Girls as Bootsy and in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as Jackie, and appeared in series such as One Life to Live, The Sopranos and The Blacklist.
