Biography
Bruce Bilson was an American television director. He was born in New York City on 19 May 1928 and graduated from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television in 1950. He began his career as an assistant director on series such as The Andy Griffith Show before directing his first episodes in the mid-1960s.
Bilson directed episodes of many series, including 22 episodes of Get Smart (for which he received the 1967–1968 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series), The Mary Tyler Moore Show, MASH, Bonanza, Bewitched, The Six Million Dollar Man, Wonder Woman and Knight Rider*. His directing credits spanned five decades.
