Biography

Chris Lowe is a British production designer and supervising art director. He began working in feature films in the mid-1990s and has credits as art director or supervising art director on films including The Golden Compass (2007), Quantum of Solace (2008), In Bruges (2008), Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), Dumbo (2019) and No Time to Die (2021).

Since 2022 he has worked as production designer on The Gray Man (2022), Meg 2: The Trench (2023), Bob Marley: One Love (2024) and Venom: The Last Dance (2024). He also served as production designer on the television miniseries Longitude (2000).

Lowe won a British Academy Television Craft Award for Best Production Design for Longitude (shared with Eileen Diss) and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Art Direction for a Miniseries or Movie for The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004).
