Biography
Chris Mulkey is an American actor. Born on 3 May 1948 in Viroqua, Wisconsin, he studied acting at the University of Minnesota and spent four years as a company member of the Children's Theatre of Minneapolis. He made his feature debut in Loose Ends (1975) and moved to Hollywood later that year.
Mulkey has appeared in numerous films and television series. His credits include First Blood (1982), Twin Peaks (1990–1991), Cloverfield (2008), Captain Phillips (2013), The Purge (2013), Whiplash (2014) as Uncle Frank, and On the Basis of Sex (2018). He is also a singer-songwriter and has collaborated frequently with his wife, actress and artist Karen Landry.
