Biography

Christopher Malcolm (also credited as Chris Malcolm) was a Scottish-Canadian actor, director and producer. Born in Aberdeen, he began his professional career with the Royal Shakespeare Company in the late 1960s and appeared in numerous theatre productions.

He first achieved notice for creating the role of Brad Majors in the original stage production of The Rocky Horror Show in 1973. His film roles included Zev Senesca in The Empire Strikes Back (1980), a miner in Superman III (1983), Kirk Matunas in Highlander (1986) and the father in Labyrinth (1986). On television he had a recurring role as Justin in Absolutely Fabulous.

Malcolm later worked extensively as a producer, overseeing worldwide productions of The Rocky Horror Show from the 1990s onwards. He died in London in 2014.
