Biography
Craig Alpert is an American film editor. He has edited two dozen feature films since 2006, often working on comedies.
His early credits as editor include Borat (2006) and Knocked Up (2007). He later edited Pineapple Express (2008), Yes Man (2008), Pitch Perfect 2 (2015), Deadpool 2 (2018), Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (2020), The Lost City (2022), Blue Beetle (2023) and, with William Hoy, Superman (2025). He has also worked as an additional or assistant editor on films including Meet the Fockers (2004), The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005) and The Suicide Squad (2021).
Alpert and fellow editors received American Cinema Editors Award nominations for Deadpool 2 and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.
