Biography
Davey Holmes is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He began his writing career in New York with the play More Lies About Jerzy (2001) at the Vineyard Theatre.
Holmes has written for series including Law & Order, Damages (2007), Pushing Daisies (2007–2009, also as producer), In Treatment (2008), Shameless (2011–2016) and Get Shorty (2017–2019), which he created. He received a Writers Guild of America Award for In Treatment and a nomination for Damages.
