Biography
Debra Neil-Fisher is an American film editor. She was born on 12 May 1958 in Los Angeles, California, and studied at the University of Southern California Film School.
Her early career included work as an assistant editor on commercials and features such as Revenge of the Nerds (1984) and Gotcha! (1985). She edited her first feature, Fried Green Tomatoes (1991), and went on to cut V.I. Warshawski (1991) and Up Close & Personal (1996).
Neil-Fisher is known for editing the Austin Powers films (1997–1999), the Hangover trilogy (2009–2013), How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) and Sonic the Hedgehog (2020). She has also directed projects including the web series How to Beat Your Sister-in-Law (at Everything) (2017).
