Biography
Deneen Tyler is an American actress born on 21 September 1964 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She began her career in theatre, including a local production of August Wilson's Fences at Le Petit Theatre, before moving into film and television.
Tyler has appeared in numerous films and television series. Her credits include The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), 12 Years a Slave (2013) as Phebe, Dallas Buyers Club (2013) as Denise, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), Deepwater Horizon (2016), Logan Lucky (2017) and The Purge (2018). She has also featured in series such as Treme, Yellowstone and Filthy Rich.
A New Orleans native with more than thirty years in the industry, she has over eighty credited roles across film and television.
