Biography
Don Carlos Dunaway is an American screenwriter whose career spanned the 1970s to the mid-1990s, working primarily in television. He wrote episodes of series including Toma (1974), Baretta (1975), The Rockford Files (1975–76) and The Equalizer (1986).
In 1978 he co-created the CBS series Kaz with Ron Leibman and wrote 23 episodes of it. He also contributed the teleplay for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "The Forsaken" (1993). His film credits include co-writing the screenplays for Cujo (1983) and Impulse (1984). Dunaway directed one episode of the 1985 revival of The Twilight Zone.
