Biography
Don Medford, also credited as Donald Muller, was an American television and film director. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he began his career in the early 1950s directing live anthology series in New York before moving to Hollywood, where he worked on Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
He directed episodes of numerous series including five instalments of The Twilight Zone (1959), 26 episodes of Dynasty (1981) and 32 of The F.B.I. (1965). Medford is particularly noted for directing the final two-part episode of The Fugitive (1963), which drew a record audience in 1967. His feature films include The Hunting Party (1971) and The Organization (1971). He directed more than 75 television series between 1951 and 1989.
